What does Vaxol contain?

Vaxol contains pharmaceutically purified olive oil with an addition of pharmaceutically purified mineral oil. The viscosity of the olive oil is reduced by the addition of pharmaceutically purified mineral oil. This blend gives Vaxol its unique sprayability, which effectively distributes the oil evenly in the ear canal. The composition of the mineral oil also complements the olive oil to better dissolve earwax.

Olive oil manufactured according to pharmaceutical standards is purified and refined, meaning that odorants, allergens, etc., have been removed. It contains fatty acids whose unique properties make Vaxol naturally lubricating and effective.

The type of mineral oil found in Vaxol is pharmaceutically purified and approved for use in many different types of products. Vaxol has undergone the MDR* process and is approved, ensuring safe content and use.

There has been no change in the content of Vaxol since its launch in 2010, which means it is a well-proven product.

What makes Vaxol unique?

Vaxol has a patented spray bottle that effectively distributes the oil thinly and evenly in the ear canal, making the product easy to use.

During the development of Vaxol, it was discovered that the viscosity of pure olive oil prevented an even distribution when sprayed into the ear canal. By adding purified mineral oil, the viscosity of the olive oil is reduced, and this combination gives Vaxol its unique sprayability and enhances its effectiveness. The mineral oil has additional benefits as it also helps the olive oil to dissolve earwax.

Vaxol has a shelf life of 12 months after opening, which is unique among oil-based ear products.
